Online
gambling commissions and other casino watchdogs
It is not to
say
that every single casino using proprietary software is a
cheat but most are not in a hurry
to have their games checked out for randomness and
fair-odds results.
There is a slots
casino that has its own software which I
list but with slots the
payoff rate is pre-set anyway. its just a matter of when
that slot game is going to pay out the percentage it is
set to give back. In the case of slots you
are gambling on the generosity of the casino no matter
where you go.
Publicly traded
software such as Microgaming however has the payouts on slots set
by the software provider and not by the casino. The
casino software company wants to be popular which
means it needs winners but not so many the casino
doesn't make its percentage of profit on the money
turning around and changing hands.
Keep in mind
that when I say "set"; that it means the slot games will
pay out at some point, that set amount percentage back to
the players. But that could be to a group of ten people or
all of it might go to one lucky person. It is NOT a
guarantee that any one individual player will see a "set"
amount of percentage back on the money they have lost.
T
here are many
so-called gambling watchdogs but unfortunately most of
them have been created by the very casinos they list as
being okay. This was surely the case with the now defunct SafeBet
casino watchdog which was launched by the creator of the software
for the very casinos it was suppose to be a watchdog. I am
almost certain SafeBet is now completely off the web. A
failed sham of an effort and greatly cemented for me the
suspicion that the casino owners using this software
were more than just too cheap to lease the best
available software, they chose this software because it
was the cheapest means to achieve a position in
eBusiness where they could make a legitimate run at a
quality online casino or if nothing else get away with
stealing a lot of people's money before they were
finally so infamous that nobody visited their casinos
any longer because of the reputation of not paying
players.
