Problem casinos
Problem casinos always have money to throw into
advertising for two reasons. They always have money to
spend because they don't pay their winners on large cashins and they need to have this
exposure to survive at this point because they can't get
listed on any reputable casino guide. Therefore they are
left with the problem of gaining casino
exposure. They have burned their bridges behind
them and nobody is in a hurry to see them rebuilt so they buy
advertising at every possible juncture that doesn't mind selling
space to a place that's going to cheat their readers.
This industry more than any
besides perhaps a medical career depends in its reputation and once
tainted this is a very hard problem to overcome. Get the rep of being a
problem casino and it can cause severe damage. Sadly it takes a lot of
people getting ripped off before the casino's reputation begins to fray
under the strain of accumulating complaints from an ongoing list of
players saying they weren't getting paid.
Please understand there is a
lot of lying going on of both sides of the fence when there is a
problem with a casino and sometimes it is anybody's guess which
side is telling the truth. Gambling creates plenty of players with sore
loser attitudes who will blatantly lie about a casino not paying them to
tarnish that casino's reputation. Then there are the casinos that lie
about getting players paid.
Since there are more frauds
on the player side of the coin (sheer numbers would dictate that true),
and the fact we usually know a casino's history of paying or not paying,
and the casino has had a good reputation up until that point: then the
benefit of doubt goes towards the casino until such time enough
complaints build up that it is obvious there is something wrong or there
wouldn't be so many claiming the same problem with the same casino.
